OCD definition

(OCD), means Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. (OCD)  is a mental disorder that affects people of all ages and walk of life. Obsessive thoughts are the hallmark of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD); it is an anxiety-related disease. But there are types of ‘obsessive’ thought that are present in a variety of anxiety disorder that won’t necessarily cause a diagnosis of OCD.  About 1 in 50 people around the world suffer from this disease some time in their life. Usually, this disease begins in childhood and adolescence. Both men and women can suffer from this maniacal disease.

What is Obsession?

It is a kind of painful thought, picture or persecution, which comes to mind against the will of mind. These ideas change at different times and don’t care any logic.

What is compulsion?

Conducted or forced by Obsession what the work was done to reduce discomfort and anxiety is called a ‘compulsion’. For example: repeatedly washing, counting, verifying repeatedly, continual tidy up and repeating the same thing.

*Tendency to putting in order furniture, book, clothes or anything arranging things until it ‘feels right’.

* Repeat counting or touching things repeatedly.

* Take action to prevent harm or harm to others.

seems like physical conditions, suppose diabetes, hypertension can be controlled by treatment,  the OCD disease can also be controlled through treatment.
